Fuji Xerox Launches FX4112 / FX4127 Mono Production System

Cutting edge production system unveiled to serve growing demand for office automation in government and education sector

KUALA LUMPUR , June 19, 2008 – Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific Pte Ltd (Malaysia Operations), officially unveiled the Fuji Xerox 4112 / 4127 Mono Production System in a drive to fulfil the growing needs of the office automation in the government and education sector.  Fuji Xerox has positioned the two new models, FX4112 and FX4127 as the ideal infrastructure upgrade for use in the print room in the local administrative agencies and departments as well as the educational sector.  The system is also an ideal solution for the other market segment such as the quick print providers and large corporate training centres.

The FX4112 / 4127 Copier/Printer and the Enterprise Printing System are uniquely designed for print room users and/or print providers that require fast speed, high image quality, ease of use and workflow flexibility.  It offers some of the market’s most innovative features that will boost up office productivity and performance. The basic functions support handling of high volume print jobs, overflowing jobs as well as small print jobs quickly and efficiently while delivering the fastest print speed in its class with 110 and 125 ppm (page per minute). Other features include the facilitating of fast and cost-effective communication gateway, utilising the LDAP-compliant scan-to-email functions and a built-in full colour scanning capabilities.

The FX4112 / 4127 supports a versatile in-line finishing options such as stapling, punching, and the making of saddle-stitch booklets among the many other features it boasts.  The new inline finishing options make it possible for customers to produce workbooks, course packs, manuals and booklets with more pages and offers greater inline stacking capabilities to support a host of applications like reports, manuals, billing, invoices or statements.

 Some of the new technologies that have been incorporated with the FX 4112/4127 are:  

•  Enhanced Print Security features – Secured marking of highly confidential documents against forgery with the use of Speciality Imaging Fonts (SIF) which uniquely available only with Fuji Xerox

•  Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) support – the next generation Internet Protocol which has added improvements in routings and network auto-configuration

•  High compression & searchable text for scanned PDF file – for customers to compress file size and for OCR search purposes

•  Enhanced Print Stream Support – With the Fuji Xerox Free Flow Print Server, a unique production workflow solution (Unix based), the FX 4112/4127 system is capable to handle concurrent spooling, ripping and printing of multiple jobs at any one time.  Additional features such as queues and hot folders allows customer to easily automate and streamline workflow.
