Fuji Xerox Launches High-End ApeosPort-II and High-Performance DocuCentre-II Digital Colour Multifunction Devices
The series targeted at Large to Small and Medium-Sized Businesses


KUALA LUMPUR, 15 January 2008 – Fuji Xerox, The Document Company today launched the top of the line, ApeosPort-II C7500/C6500/C5400, and the high performance, DocuCentre-II C7500/C6500/C5400, digital colour multifunction devices (MFDs) that take care of the document processing and management needs of any business.

The company’s flagship ApeosPort-II series enables seamless digital information integration and management, while the ever popular DocuCentre-II series continues to push the envelope on reliability, speed and quality.

With open technologies, the ApeosPort-II series allows for enhanced connectivity where the MFD not only copies, prints and scans, but connects to multitude external sources to send, receive, store and retrieve documents. Businesses can input and share data over the entire enterprise locally and even globally in a flexible and secure way.

The series also features five intelligent services -- mobile service, customise service, security service, management service and document flow service -- for increased user productivity and efficiency. The services provide an environment for documents to be securely distributed via office intranets or the internet; and make it possible to link to existing CRM, DMS and ERP applications.

This series of the ApeosPort-II is also designed for high performance and flexibility. Fast printing/copying achieves up to 50ppm for colour and 75ppm for monochrome. It has high-speed 1 pass duplex scanning at 200ipm for monochrome. In terms of flexibility, paper feeding capacity goes as high as 5,260 sheets, with a wide range of finishing options. With full colour UI, the ApeosPort-II is easy to use and operate.

For businesses looking to be self-sufficient, this series is perfect. It delivers on speed, quality and reliability. Print/copy speed matches the ApeosPort-II series, with 50ppm for colour documents and 75ppm for monochrome. Enjoy the First-Copy-Out-Time of 4.1 seconds for monochrome and 7.8 seconds for colour. It boasts the highest resolution and quality in laser colour printing with 2,400dpi. The scanning feature allows you to scan and retrieve your stored documents quickly and easily with either the built-in user interface or from a PC via WebDAV and it also supports A3-size documents and simultaneous scanning of mixed-size documents to enhance your office productivity. The mid size colour UI panels provide easy access to all the advanced features at your fingertips and the various finishing option further boost the business productivity.
