Fuji Xerox Launches New Multifunction Devices for Improved Office Productivity and Security
The DocuCentre-II 3005/2055/2005 series target business users looking for an easy to use, speedy, secure and high productivity office solution
KUALA LUMPUR , 16 May 2007 – Fuji Xerox, The Document Company today launched three new monochrome (B/W) multifunction devices under the DocuCentre-II series - DocuCentre-II 3005, DocuCentre-II 2055 and DocuCentre-II 2005. The series is targeted at workgroup based of large enterprises or small and medium enterprises who demand high quality, volume and speedy printing in a multifunction device that enables high office productivity and superior network capabilities in a secure environment. As businesses move towards globalization, the web-based application/services of a multifunction device will be essential to access to internet/intranet in a secure manner for greater work efficiency, productivity and mobility.

DocuCentre-II 3005/2055/2005 series boasts 33ppm/28ppm/23ppm engine speeds respectively; features highly robust copy, print and scan functions, the richest fax functions enables integration to third party fax server application, and supports secure and sophisticated network environments.
These features coupled with enhanced software for document and workflow management, an improved print security and management services have been designed and developed into the Fuji Xerox DocuCentre-II 3005/2055/2005 series to create real business value for our customers now and into the future.
High Quality, High Speed
DocuCentre-II 3005/2055/2005 series prints in high resolution of 1200x1200 dpi at full speed, the best in its class. The series also lead against its competing products with fast FCOT (First Copy Output time), just a mere 4.3 seconds; and 15 seconds warm-up time, which are key factors in determining high productivity.
Diverse Security Features
The series have a comprehensive set of security features to protect your company’s valuable assets such as information. The multifunction devices also come with HDD Security, an image overwrite technology especially useful for R&D departments and security sensitive agencies. With this technology, customers can now remove or change machines without worrying about critical information leakage.
The following are some of the notable security features incorporated into the DocuCentre-II Series:
- Print/Copy security – Complete Auditron features to prevent unauthorized copying/printing to protect a company’s confidential information and reduce information leakage.
- Scan security -- With password encryption technology, customers can store and share scanned documents securely.
- Fax security -- Customers can choose not to show incoming faxes to third parties with the features that allow printing from machine storage by authorized storage owner. Also, destination restriction option prevents transmission mistakes due to human error.
More Office Productivity Solutions
The series’ enhanced office productivity features include:
- Paperless fax send and receive via PC -- A received fax can be transmitted to customer’s PC or server directly or by email.
- Auto fax re-send -- With this handy feature, documents are saved, not deleted when not faxed successfully.
- Linkage to 3rd party fax server application – With this, seamless integration between a customer’s current fax server and the DocuCentre-II 3005/2055/2005 series is possible without additional installation of fax option and telephone line.
- Priority interruption for urgent print jobs – With this convenient feature, customers can choose to interrupt continuous copy jobs to process and print urgent print requests.
