Community Activities
Fuji Xerox as a global leader in document management has always felt a strong sense of pride in giving back to the community. By going back to basics, Fuji Xerox Malaysia has constantly been supporting the local and regional community through its various charitable efforts. We find that the best way for us to reach out and assimilate deep into the hearts of all Malaysians is to think globally and act locally.
The following are some of the successful projects organized by FXM in response to supporting our local communities:
Fuji Xerox continued supporting the Hulu Langat Special Children Centre in Cheras
RM6000 was donated to help them realize their dream to build a much bigger home to accommodate more special children.
Fuji Xerox donated RM5000 to Special Children Centre
Cheque with RM5000 was hand over to Special Children Centre in Cheras to support the NGO ‘s drive for a new building to accommodate more children.
Mangrove Tree Planting at Kuala Selangor
A fleet of 65 members from Fuji Xerox Malaysia including their spouse and children planted 1000 Mangrove Tree Samplings within 2 hours at Kuala Selangor.
Fuji Xerox Received Award on Contribution towards Recycling 2008
Fuji Xerox is honoured to receive the Contribution Award towards Recycling 2008 by Kerajaan Tempatan, Perumahan, Kerja Raya dan Kemudahan Awam Negeri, Johor. This award is given based on the criteria of most collected recycled items, continuous recycling activities and commitment in promoting recycling to the community.

Donation Drive for Myanmar Cyclone Nargis & Sichuan Earthquake Victims
A total of RM44,000 to help victims recover their pain and losses from their loved ones, to rebuild homes and enable them to pursue new lives.

| 2010 | Donation to Special Children Centre | We donated RM6000 to Hulu Langat Special Children Centre in November. This total fund was raised through our annual internal recycling campaign. We continued to donate to this home to help them realize their dream to have a bigger home on a newly acquired land to house the increased number of special children. |
| Donation to Special Children Centre | A cheque of RM5000 was donated to Hulu Langat Special Children Centre in January. This is the total fund raised by the annual internal recycling campaign plus some contribution from the company.
The donation will be used for the NGO’s drive for a new building to accommodate more children. The centre is currently providing Day Training for 90 special children on:

| Mangrove Tree Planting in Kuala Selangor | On January, 16, a fleet of 65 members from Fuji Xerox Malaysia including their spouse and children planted 1000 Mangrove Tree samplings within 2 hours at Kuala Selangor. This is another social contribution towards environment preservation initiatives by the company. | |
| 2009 | Earth Hour | Fuji Xerox Malaysia participated in Earth Hour 2009. HQ & branch offices switch-off the signage for one hour from 8.30 to 9.30 pm. |
| 2008 | Mangrove tree planting at KK wetland | 20 staffs in Kota Kinabalu branch participated in planting 50 mangroves in the KK wetland site. |

Fuji Xerox Malaysia organized Eco-trip with 60 staffs and families to Kuala Selangor Nature Park. With the support from the Malaysian Nature Society, an NGO that care-take the Kuala Selangor Nature Park, we have planted 100 mangrove trees and cleaned the swamp area. | |

| 2005 | Tree Planting at Forestry Research Institute Malaysia | Approximately 110 staffs and families of Fuji Xerox Malaysia went to Forestry Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) and planted 80 trees from 4 rare species. |
| Aid to Tsunami Victims in Acheh, Indonesia | Fuji Xerox Malaysia contributed RM97,000.00 to the victims who suffered the devastation of the Banda Aceh Tsunami, 24 December 2004. | |
| 2004 | Fuji Xerox Malaysia Family Environment Day, Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan. | As part of Eco trip, 83 of Fuji Xerox Malaysia staffs and families cleaned the beach of Blue Lagoon at Port Dickson. The group also toured Putrajaya related eco facilities. |
