Fuji Xerox Malaysia Launches the ApeosPort-III / DocuCentre III C7600 / C6500 / C5500 Colour Multi-Function DevicesNew document solutions by leading manufacturer to fulfill greater demand for high colour volume and image quality industriesKuala Lumpur, 22 July 2009 – Fuji Xerox Malaysia, a leading global brand that provides cutting-edge office automation solutions has today announced the availability of the ApeosPort-III and DocuCentre-III C7600 / C6500 / C5500 colour multi-function devices (MFD). Targeted at businesses which require high colour volume and quality printing such as the advertising and print industry, these two latest MFD series: ApeosPort-III and DocuCentre-III are expected to increase Fuji Xerox’s market share in the 50 to 60 ppm digital colour multifunction segment by offering best-in-class print quality backed by greater security enhancements for seamless document workflow within any given organization. According to Masahiko Saito, President of Fuji Xerox Malaysia, the ApeosPort-III and DocuCentre-III strive to provide current expanding businesses with print solutions that are easy to use yet intelligent enough to reduce the burden of security, efficiency and business continuity. “With the high print quality and robust print engine, the ApeosPort-III and DocuCentre-III range of products are strategically positioned as a bridge between office MFD and Entry Production Printing System”, added Saito. As part of Fuji Xerox’s renowned Apeos family of print solutions, the ApeosPort-III has been given a multi-facet upgrade from its predecessor in terms of enhanced connectivity and security where the MFD not only copies, prints, scans and fax but can also connect to a multitude of external sources to send, receive, store and retrieve documents locally and globally as well. The ApeosPort-III also boasts an arsenal of security features such as force annotation which effectively prints the user’s name and ID onto the document being copied to enable proper tracking and monitoring of document movements. An email domain filtering option is also available for fending off unwanted access and the recovery setting tool makes it possible for users to recover lost working files. Such options for safe document works are necessary as the ApeosPort-III is heavily geared towards rendering services over the internet and intranet.
