ENGINEERING DocuWide 3030MF

The DocuWide 3030MF digital multifunctions that can effectively produce copies of technical drawings, digitalized paper drawings and handle a wide spectrum of print jobs all in one device. DocuWide 3030MF is a 2-roll paper feeder model (3 inches core x 2).

At the frontline of the management of engineering drawings whether in manufacturing, construction or facility operations in government and public offices, integrating CAD data and different-sized paper drawings often leads to difficulties in speedy searches and viewings as well as increased storage space. The inclusion of Fuji Xerox’ document handling software DocuWorks 6.0 with the DocuWide 3030MF helps to increase efficiency in the overall consolidated management of drawings and technical documents. This will enable digitalization and integrated management of drawings to complement conventional copying and drawing output processes.

The DocuWide 3030MF is equipped with a scanning function and can read A0 sized original documents at a speed of 76.2mm per second with a resolution of 600dpi. It also includes a print function that can output A0 size at 3 pages per minute, as well as a copying function. In addition, the series is also equipped with an improved network scanning feature incorporated in Fuji Xeox’s best selling models DocuWide 6050/6030 Series released in 2002. Data scanned via the network can be downloaded to a PC using either “Wide Format Scan Service” or “Wide Format Network TWAIN Source”, thus boosting the total efficiency of drawing digitalization and the integrated management of documents.

The DocuWide 3030 series has been developed with a globally common platform in terms of operability, quality and environmental consciousness.

	Equipped with Network Scanning Features * Scanned data can be downloaded to the PC via the network. There are 2 ways for downloading data: Download by utilizing the scanning tool “Wide Format Scan Service” from the Mailbox. Utilizing the “Wide Format Scan Service” will enable you to download documents accumulated in the Mailbox without any application or the need to go through a server. Settings to perform periodical downloading (automatic acquisition) are also possible. Download by utilizing the network scanner driver “Wide Format Network TWAIN Source” from the Mailbox. (Example of main application: Linkage with “DocuWorks Desk”) The scan save format is applicable to TIFF, PDF, CALS by standard.
	Linkage with DocuWorks By making use of the document handling software “DocuWorks 6.0”, it is possible to digitalize the scanned paper drawings or technical information, etc., from A0 to A4 size, and perform consolidated management

	High resolution output of 600 x 600dpi With the copy (print) features of DocuWide 3030MF, output of A0 size CAD data and documents at 600 x 600dpi high resolution is made possible by the high-speed processing of the controller through the adoption of a high-performance CPU.
	Adaptable to extra-long copying (printing) Extra-long copying (printing) is adaptable to a maximum width of 914mm, normal paper of maximum length 5m (Note). Consecutive copying (consecutive printing) is possible up to 99 pages, and enables copying (printing) of several numbers of copies (prints) starting from original documents with more pages. The maximum width of the original document is wider than the A0 size: 914mm (36 inches), and is able to read extra-long documents of maximum length up to 15m.

	Support various data formats The supporting output formats are HP-GL/HP-GL2/RTL (Note), TIFF (R6.0), CALS (Type-1), VRF, VCGL, FXMMR, by standard. (Note): The output formats of HP-GL2/RTL and the same kinds are emulating Hewlett-Packard’s “Designjet 1050C”.
	Checking of output conditions as well as settings of a logical printer through the Web browser are possible Checking of the controller settings or processing conditions can be performed by utilizing the Web, browser from a PC on the network. Settings of a logical printer (Note) can be done on the Web browser too. Besides these, it is a designed for security by restricting the settings of a logical printer only by the Administrator mode. (Note): A logical printer is a function to set in advance the contents of the printer features which differ by each processing task, to visualise as if it is an independent printer which processes only those contents set.
	Reads the original document even during warm-up time Reading of the original document is possible after approximately 60 seconds of switching-on.
