Petaling Jaya, 12 January 2021: Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. (Malaysia Operations) was informed today that one of our support staff has been tested positive for COVID-19.
This employee is not a customer-facing individual who has minimal or no direct contact with the public. The employee's last presence at Fuji Xerox HQ (Petaling Jaya office) was on 7th January 2021. The affected employee is currently exercising self-quarantine while awaiting further instruction from the Ministry of Health. We are in contact with Petaling Jaya District Health Office for the next action, where necessary. Contact tracing will be conducted by the MOH through the MySejahtera App.
As a further precautionary measure, Fuji Xerox HQ at Petaling Jaya will be closed for sanitization tomorrow 13 January 2021. Fuji Xerox HQ has activated its BCP and continues to operate with minimal disruptions. Most of our employees have been on Work-From-Home arrangement and we are adhering strictly to the SOP of Movement Control Order, including wearing of face mask, physical distancing, minimizing our employees’ movements and physical presence in the offices and places we operate.
